At Notify we understand that the effectiveness of a communication doesn't depend solely on the technological capacity of a messaging platform, but also on the quality and availability of mobile networks where people actually are.
For this reason, every Notify service includes the Notify® Coverage Intelligence Service, an ongoing initiative to monitor, analyze, and evaluate mobile coverage in hard-to-reach areas, aimed at maximizing the delivery probability of SMS messages and other critical communications.
This service allows us to identify, in a timely way, conditions that could affect end-user connectivity, and to generate valuable information about the real behavior of mobile networks across different geographic and seasonal environments.
Notify carries out periodic mobile coverage assessment campaigns using specialized technology and on-the-ground measurements. These assessments are planned around Chile's geographic and seasonal characteristics, providing representative information about the real operating conditions of mobile networks.
Areas analyzed — Campaign log
During winter, monitoring is prioritized on Andean and mountain routes, while during summer, monitoring increases on tourist routes, desert areas, and zones with high temporary population movement.
The Notify® Coverage Intelligence Service combines measurement technology, specialized analysis, and on-the-ground operational deployment to assess the real conditions of mobile networks.
To strengthen these capabilities, in July 2026 Notify added to its operation the first vehicle specifically dedicated to coverage analysis and connectivity assessment missions in remote areas.
This vehicle stands out as one of the most advanced production off-road platforms available on the market, built to operate in extreme conditions without requiring structural modifications or additional equipment for off-road performance.
It also comes with a factory-integrated GSM modem for cellular connectivity, a feature that complements the technological capabilities Notify uses during field measurement and analysis campaigns.
Thanks to this investment, Notify can carry out monitoring activities in locations where accessibility is a challenge for gathering mobile coverage data, including mining roads, mountain routes, isolated rural areas, and desert zones.
The Notify® Coverage Intelligence Service reflects an ongoing investment policy in technology, equipment, and operational capabilities aimed at improving communication quality.
Unlike assessments based solely on remote tools or theoretical coverage data, Notify complements its processes with direct field observations and measurements, obtaining information that is representative of the real user experience.
This capability allows us to detect situations that might not be visible through traditional monitoring methods and helps build a better understanding of mobile network behavior under real-world conditions.
When monitoring activities identify significant anomalies, signal degradation, or potential coverage issues, Notify shares that information with the relevant network operators to contribute to the continuous improvement of telecommunications infrastructure.
This collaboration provides field-based evidence about how mobile networks actually perform in geographically complex or operationally demanding areas.
At Notify, we believe critical communications must be backed by real, up-to-date information about the conditions of the networks that carry them. The Notify® Coverage Intelligence Service is part of our ongoing commitment to quality, innovation, and continuous improvement. Our goal isn't just to transmit messages — it's to understand and optimize the conditions that give every communication the best possible chance of reaching its destination.
